I have a Food Saver vacuum sealer that is about 2 years old. It works great, but the heat tape was torn and it was melting the bags. I bought this, cut it to length, stuck it over the heat strip, and it is working perfectly. Even if this pulls up over time, I have enough on the roll to do many repairs.
